# PokéBonk Guide > Independent English guides, editorial rankings and planning tools for PokéBonk (also written Pokebonk), the Pokémon-inspired browser survival game. This guide is published at https://pokebonk.co. The original game is at https://pokebonk.com/. This is an unofficial fan reference, not the game developer or game host. ## Coverage and evidence Starter, Lab, League-unlock and fusion guides/tools use game v0.8.18, build mvjge531, checked 2026-10-22. The tier list uses a separate v0.8.25 combat snapshot, build mvjzbutg, reviewed 2026-10-23. A newer tier snapshot does not make the older guide/tool snapshot current. These dates describe the evidence, not the file build time. Rankings are editorial judgments for overall League single-player progression at comparable Lab investment. They are not measured win rates or DPS benchmarks. Names are alphabetical within each tier; each placement covers the partner’s evolution line. Client-code definitions and limited UI checks are distinguished from playtested outcomes. Base Pokémon stats, standard move power/accuracy and source ability descriptions are reference data; do not treat them as Survivor combat formulas or custom League passives. Use each document’s version and source caveats when citing it. Markdown copies contain the rendered article and data tables from the corresponding canonical HTML page. Interactive tools require the website; their underlying rules and tables are covered by the linked guides. Cite the canonical page and its applicable version/date. ## Start playing - [How to play](https://pokebonk.co/guides/how-to-play): Controls, run progression and the first decisions for a new player. - [Best starter (Markdown)](https://pokebonk.co/guides/best-starter.md): Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle: custom passives, opening attacks, kit offers, Ultimates and signature pairs. ## Rankings and permanent progression - [League tier list (Markdown)](https://pokebonk.co/tier-list.md): All 79 partners in S/A/B/C tiers, with individual strengths, trade-offs and ranking methodology; v0.8.25, reviewed 2026-10-23. - [Lab upgrades and costs (Markdown)](https://pokebonk.co/guides/lab.md): All 24 upgrades and all 109 purchase levels; the fourth move slot, item pools and Archive. - [Unlock every League partner (Markdown)](https://pokebonk.co/guides/unlock-pokemon.md): All 79 partners, League-size gates, challenge requirements and the later capture step. - [Lab budget planner](https://pokebonk.co/tools/lab-planner): Interactive Stardust budgeting with current levels, upgrade targets and marginal costs; based on the v0.8.18 Lab snapshot. ## Moves, fusions and builds - [Move fusions (Markdown)](https://pokebonk.co/guides/move-fusions.md): All 106 fusion definitions: 79 signatures, eight reactions, 18 type results and MissingNo.; input levels and matching priority. - [Fusion finder](https://pokebonk.co/tools/fusion-finder): Interactive lookup across 687 eligible inputs and 106 recipes; filter by partner or move and share a pair. - [Moves and levels](https://pokebonk.co/guides/moves-and-levels): How to read the base-reference learnsets and their limits. - [Evolution guide](https://pokebonk.co/guides/evolution-guide): Evolution fields and why reference levels should not be substituted for in-run evolution rules. ## Reference indexes - [Pokédex](https://pokebonk.co/pokedex): 151 Kanto reference entries; follow individual profiles for source data and any separately labeled gameplay coverage. - [Move reference](https://pokebonk.co/moves): 381 connected source moves; power and accuracy are base-reference fields, not measured Survivor damage. - [Ability reference](https://pokebonk.co/abilities): 114 connected source abilities; distinguish these from custom League passives. - [Item reference](https://pokebonk.co/items): 151 source item records; presence in this index alone does not establish availability or an unlock. - [Understanding game data](https://pokebonk.co/guides/understanding-game-data): Scope, provenance and the distinction between reference records and game-specific mechanics. ## Sources and updates - [Sources and methodology (Markdown)](https://pokebonk.co/sources.md): Primary game URLs, extraction methods, version boundaries, verification limits and corrections. - [Release summaries](https://pokebonk.co/updates): Selected reviewed game announcements; this is not an exhaustive or live changelog. - [About this guide](https://pokebonk.co/about): Independent fan-site identity and coverage.
