Bulbasaur in PokéBonk
Healer · v0.8.18 · Checked 2026-10-22
Use recovery alongside movement, rather than relying on healing to absorb every hit. Razor Leaf and Solar Beam are the two moves to keep if you are planning Flower Beam.
- Passive
- Synthesis
Adds 1.5 regeneration and 25% healing. Grass hits can restore 0.4% HP per hit, up to five times per second; healing modifiers and the shared healing budget still apply.
- How to unlock
Choose this partner at the start, or complete two runs (win or lose), then encounter and capture it in a later run. Completing the challenge alone does not add it to your League.

Your run kit
The opening move is equipped at the start. Later moves can appear in level-up choices from the listed player level; they are not automatically learned. Your full offer pool can also include other compatible moves.
| Move | Type | Available |
|---|---|---|
| Vine Whip | grass | Equipped at run start |
| Razor Leaf | grass | Can be offered from Lv. 2 |
| Sleep Powder | grass | Can be offered from Lv. 4 |
| Solar Beam | grass | Can be offered from Lv. 7 |
New runs have three move slots by default. The Lab’s fourth-move upgrade raises capacity to four. Lab upgrades and costs
Ultimate forms
- Bulbasaur — Furious Roots
- Roots strike outward and can root enemies they hit.
- Ivysaur — Frenzy Plant
- Eight roots add a 20% heal and nearby sleep effects.
- Venusaur — Giga Flower Whip
- Ten roots accompany a large flower and three waves of petals.
Use the Ultimate when its charge is full (default desktop key: R). It charges over time and through combat; Lab and item bonuses can accelerate it. The unmodified passive charge rate is 1/95 per second while inactive, rather than a fixed 95-second cooldown.
Evolution in a run
These are thresholds traced in the current client, not mainline evolution levels or playtested results. Evolution also checks the target sprite and level-up processing; delayed evolution can shift later timing. These three lines do not require a stone or trade in the traced run logic.
Signature fusion
Razor Leaf + Solar Beam → Flower Beam
Bring both input moves to move level 8, then use Bill’s Machine. Fusing frees one move slot. Fusion rules and all recipes
The passive and opening attack were checked in the live starter menu. Kits, Ultimates, evolution thresholds and fusion pairs are current-client definitions; their outcomes have not been playtested here. Sources and verification
