Versions, sources and scope

Enter PokéBonk's Lavender Tower from the Halloween event card on the main menu, choose Enter the Tower, then pick a League partner. Clear three waves on each floor, defeat Gengar on floor seven and continue into the Beyond if you want to push the event leaderboard. The event ends November 4, 2026 at 17:30 UTC.

This is a separate event mode. You do not unlock it by clearing Storm Coast or Celestial Glacier. The checked v0.8.46 client starts Tower runs from the live event screen, with its own graveyard map and rules.

How to enter Lavender Tower

  1. Open the original game and return to the main menu.
  2. Open the Lavender Tower Night event card. Its page contains Play, Book of Candles, Achievements, Leaderboard and Prizes sections.
  3. Choose Enter the Tower while the event is live.
  4. Pick an available League partner and start the Tower run.

If the entry is missing or closed, check the event countdown and current game version. The client checks the server's event state before starting; an old screenshot or an event reward still available to claim is not proof that new runs can still begin. Do not reset your save to look for the event.

Each designed floor has three waves, with the boss in the third. Clear the floor before taking the stairs. The v0.8.26 and v0.8.29 notes address blocked stairs, hidden ghosts and other Tower obstructions; reload an old client before assuming a persistent blockage is an intended puzzle.

In the Beyond, Bill's Machine appears every three floors, according to the developer's follow-up article. Plan a fusion pair before reaching one. A higher floor number is an event progression goal; it does not mean you have unlocked another normal region.

Ghosts, candles and Marowak

Three Tower interactions deserve attention before you focus only on damage:

  • Veiled ghosts: from floor three, the Tower automatically sends a Silph Scope pulse around you every five seconds. Move close enough for that pulse to reveal unidentified ghosts; owning the normal Silph Scope item increases its radius, rather than being required to start the pulse. This event mechanic is separate from a permanent League unlock.
  • Candelabras and sacred circles: the announcement describes lighting candelabras for visibility and healing, and holding out inside the sacred circle. Check the current floor's objective before lighting everything: floor four has a separate no-light achievement.
  • Ghost Marowak on floor six: light the three memorial candles to calm the ghost; Cubone joins as a Support Alpha for that run. This is not a permanent League recruitment or an automatic unlock of every Cubone-line form.

Gengar's tombstones offer a trick-or-treat choice. Read the trade-off before accepting. In the Beyond, the curse you choose is part of the risk of continuing; returning to a repeatable floor goal is a reasonable progression plan while learning the event.

Book of Candles rewards

Candles are event progress points. The official event description says Tower runs earn more and other modes earn smaller amounts. They are separate from Lab Stardust and run PokéDollars.

Total CandlesBook reward
50Tower Visitor title
150300 Stardust
300Lavender Candle frame
500Lucky Egg and Rare Candy Bag rewards
750Channeler avatar
1,000600 Stardust
1,300Cubone Costume avatar
1,650Spectral look
2,000Lavender Channeler title
2,500Gengar Costume avatar

These are cumulative track thresholds, not ten separate purchases. Return to the event's Book of Candles tab to claim available rewards. The Spectral look changes appearance; equipping it is not a combat-stat upgrade. Use the League's Wardrobe to inspect the looks your partner owns.

The track is separate from seven event achievements. Examples in the checked configuration include calming Marowak on floor six, revealing 300 ghosts, defeating Gengar on floor seven, reaching floors 15 and 25, and clearing floor four without lighting a candle. Achievement goals and leaderboard prizes have their own conditions; reaching a Candle threshold does not grant a leaderboard rank.

When does Lavender Tower end?

The published run window is October 21 at 16:30 UTC to November 4 at 17:30 UTC, 2026. In China, that is October 22 at 00:30 to November 5 at 01:30. The event and Season 2 share the announced end instant.

Use the live countdown before beginning a long attempt and claim rewards through the event interface. The checked configuration contains a post-event claim allowance, but this guide does not promise that runs started after the cutoff will count or that a particular delayed result will be accepted.

Sources and checks

Checked October 25, 2026: the original game's Season 2 and follow-up news, live event status, event/reward configuration and v0.8.46 client. The public status reported Halloween live and claimable when read. English reward labels were checked against the English UI dictionary. This is source-checked instruction, not a recorded Tower clear, reward claim or leaderboard test. Source methodology.
